The State of Connecticut
Department of Information Technology
(DoIT) is issuing this contract award
to provide consultant support for
the HIPAA PMO (Health Insurance Portability
and Accountability Act, Title II,
Administrative Simplification Program
Management Office) and related Risk
Management Projects. These individuals
are needed to assist in the security
remediation efforts for various aspects
of information technology security.
The State of CT HIPAA Security Policy
is included.
The
State of Connecticut Department of
Information Technology, IT Security
Division has been tasked to ensure
HIPAA and related information security
compliance. Eleven agencies in Connecticut
were identified as required to achieve
HIPAA security compliance. The
State reserves the right to add other
agencies in the event they are found
in scope of HIPAA security regulations.
